Far from it. I was waaaaaaaay overtired and acted childish. I have no problem admitting that. I was annoyed and wanted the print. No excuses whatsoever. My actions were childish. That didn’t cause the blacklist though. There’s much more to the story, dating back years. It’s all good. No relationship is perfect. Stuff happens. Looking back, the whole thing was absurd. It’s limited paper, for faaaaaacks sake. Just don’t care anymore. Things change.

Look, I’ve been selling my collection off and sidelined from buying artwork (oustide of phish shows) for the last 5 months or so. That means that most of my collection, not JUST Welker, is being let go of. If someone letting it all go causes turmoil or sour grapes, I can’t control that. What sucks is the finger pointing and assumptions that are being made. Simply enough: I collected art for 7 years. Most of it doesn’t mean much to me anymore so I may as well get rid of it. I’d rather have the money in the bank, used for family vacations or fixing crap in the new house. Does that make me a bad person? In certain circles, maybe. I just don’t need to have it in my house anymore. I’ve been around long enough and recognize the many many many mistakes I’ve made. Anyway, it’s not a world I want to immerse myself in anymore. I truly just don’t give a shite anymore. Hope that makes a bit of sense. If codeblue doesn’t make fun of this, I’m gonna be seriously hurt. I love him.
