Picked up a PS4 on black Friday for the kids. I am not tech savvy at all. What are some to free things about this thing. Can I add things like showbox and other add ons

Not much free stuff. If you want them to be able to play online you'll need Playstation Plus. Otherwise, it's local games only.

There's a bunch of free multiplayer games as well if that's your thing. Make sure to pick up the PSPlus games before they expire each month - even if you don't intend on playing them, may as well add them to your library 'just in case'. The TellTale games Batman game is one of this months bundles and it's a good one for sure.

Anyone want one of the new SNES mini systems? Brand new and sealed - $90. Also have one that was barely used - $60. Plus shipping.

After getting another Amazon card for my birthday, I finally, finally took advantage of some stockpiled ones and some Christmas money to get myself a Switch and Breath of the Wild. I can't remember the last time I was this excited to veg out.

The switch is an awesome system. It's especially good for group games. I got one for Christmas and have enjoyed the hell out of it so far. Haven't even played Breath of the Wild yet, but Mario Odyssey and MarioKart 8 are both a blast.

Red Dead Redemption 2 delayed to late October 2018.

I had no idea it was due to come out earlier than that. Totally thought that October/November was its intended date. I'll hopefully have GTAV finished by then.

Have you played other monster hunter games? I ask because if you have its just a more accessible monster hunter. If you dont like monster hunter you arent going to like this game.

Monster Hunter is a strange series. It's a really popular series, but it takes a good 8-10 hours before you fully get a hold of what you need to do. I really enjoyed it on the PSP, but I doubt I'll have the drive and time to jump into this one.

I put 30 hours in to this one. Thought it would get better... Nope, sponge enemies right til the end. Hit a monster a few times, it runs away, repeat for 25 mins. Fun

See that IS monster hunter though. Sounds like its just not for you. I dont really enjoy it either but thats the game.

Yeh you're right. But 2 of my mates are veteran monster hunter guys, and they too have returned the game. Said it went away from what the series had initially been about. So I don't know.
Whatever the case, I certainly didn't enjoy it.

Back to pubg for me haha
