This is the first Nintendo console I'm buying since GameCube. Sure the launch lineup is disappointing and it's $50 more than I had hoped and the accessories are grossly overpriced, but there's something about it that really appeals to me and instantly made me want one. So hopefully it's fun.

I know that the nintendo consoles aren't for the usual "hardcore" gamer experience, but I have to say, our WiiU is on and running more than any other system we have. Mostly because my kids play it CONSTANTLY and I am fine with them being on it unsupervised. Can't say that with our xbone etc, and we have those locked down lol

I mean, I'll buy a system if ZELDA WAS THE ONLY GAME ON IT.

I also keep reading articles talking about how they are seeing this as a system that competes with Apple rather than Sony/Microsoft really. hence the tablet feel. Kinda makes sense to me I guess. They never were about the latest and greatest hardware (well, not since N64 lol)

And drymount yeah, new FIre Emblem is on it.

If I'm understanding Switch online correctly, all matchmaking and voice chat will be via a Nintendo app on the phone?

Resident Evil VII tomorrow, anyone here picking it up? I'm excited to play it, enjoyed the demo. Mainly I'm just excited because it seems like a massive departure from 6, which I did not like at all.

Finished Dishonored 2 last night, what a fantastic game. I love the first one, but I think I liked this one even more.

Picked mine up yesterday but have band practice after work every effing day this week. I can't start it until Friday. Hopefully I break my ankle or something today so I can go home.

RE7. You can play right away and the faster you play the less likely you will be to see spoilers! No diss on Mass Effect, I'm just going to wait for reviews on it in case it doesn't set the world on fire. So much to play this year.
