Can we get a Video Game subforum?
I like Uncharted, but I mostly feel like I'm playing along with it, and if I die I'll easily be loaded back right before I die. Doom I'm like "okay surely this must be the last wave" and then there's more. Fun, but a lot more stress than Uncharted.

I just went back and played Civ V a little bit. God damn this game is so addicting. I still don't have any of the add ones like Gods and Kings.

For those who think Dark Souls is too hard:
E3 starts TOMORROW, the big conference day is Monday... I can feel it's gonna be a big one, folks.
Red Dead Redemption 2?
Call of Cthulhu
New KOEI "Most brutal title in Musou history"
VR content out the ass
Dare I say it? Half Life 3, Portal 3, Left 4 Dead 3, Source 2 release with full VR implementation?

Even with all those named in your last line, I'm most excited for Call of Cthulhu; I loved the Xbox game of the property.Bikejoh wrote:E3 starts TOMORROW, the big conference day is Monday... I can feel it's gonna be a big one, folks.

just give me a new skate damnit
The last game I played was Super Mario 64, so you could say I am not up to speed. Haven't checked this thread, but any talk of VR? I did some work with it in 1996/97 for data visualisation, but this year I think it is all kicking off, for games and everything really.
Anyone interested if I start a thread?

I've had a Vive since April. I am finishing my basement at the moment so its been put on the shelf for now. I probably have about 30 hours in VR and can tell you that it is a novelty and the game titles are mostly unfinished and buggy. However, the ceiling on VR is so damn high that in its current state it still makes for an amazing experience. If they would release AAA type titles that worked I would spend the 2k+$ for 3 gtx 1080s in a heartbeat. Still really excited as VR still has yet to learn to crawl.
Agreed 100%, seeing the most polished games like Longbow in the Lab gives you an idea of how good it can really be. But yeah, others like Hover Junkers are a lot of fun but still a buggy mess. General public will just wait until more defined content is released and it's out of this "experimental" phase.. more great VR titles are added to Steam every day. HUGE potential here, really hope E3 gives us some big titles to look forward to
