Finally bought some frames. Attempted to put a few faireys in and they are very tight fit, to the point I am afraid to drymount up the prints. Is it just these frames or store frames are usually like this? I never used "factory" frames for anything but small prints, which seemed to work just fine.

it seems to happen about every third print for me (not specifically Obey prints, just in general). The prints are either an 1/8 of inch longer or wider, or the off-the-shelf frames are slightly undersized.

If its a print that doesn't ahve a lot of value (which are generally the only ones I'm putting in cheap frames) I just trim them to fit, to be honest.

Probably just variance in actual print size, I've noticed that more in anything bigger than 11x14.

Thanks, gents. Yes, clearly the variance in print size. Thought maybe other frames have a bit more of a "play" while these particular ones don't.

I took out all of (most for sure) my faireys a couple of months ago and it is quite a stack. I was quite amazed how many there are. Would definitely qualify for Gonzo's platinum club. There are hardly any that are the same size though.

Since we are staying for two more years in this house (the plan was to move out of the boonies by now), I figured I will slap the walls in the basement with some Giant and some gig posters for the time being. Not sure it will work out though. And I now have a shitload of cheap frames, lol.

one of my most dreaded things happened to me the other day - a framed print fell off the wall. Glass smashed, print got scuffed up and ripped.
