Funny, I was thinking how nice it was that no one had needed to post in there for more than a year.Codeblue wrote:Counterpoint: If it was that important, someone would bump the thread at least once a year.

Don't understand how they agreed to that or how that was just deemed Ok to do by the other staff.

As a pitbull owner in Denver, I have to use a lot of common sense due to breed restrictions here so if we take our man anywhere I'm always thinking ahead and planning. This story frustrates me beyond belief. I feel horrible for the kids... but the mother? She thinks it's a good idea to fly with two young kids and a dog? Then she doesn't think twice about storing the dog up top? This woman is the worst kind of dog owner. She shouldn't have a dog with these decisions. So messed up. But what responsible mother and dog owner doesn't think through these actions.

Unfortunately there are still some folk who still see people in positions of 'authority' within their environment as knowing better or just blindly follow orders, miligram experiment mentality so to speak.FrankBooth wrote:Don't understand how they agreed to that or how that was just deemed Ok to do by the other staff.
Doctors, teachers, officials etc, although most now know better and are empowered these days to go get second opinions or challenge the initial request if it sounds incorrect.

Sorry, I have zero sympathy for those people. How you gonna let a stranger shove your dog in an airplane overhead compartment and leave it there for hours without checking on it? Because of turbulence? Fuuuuuuck that. Poor little pup suffocated.

I started and somehow finished this thing last night. It's got most of the main Star Wars (OG) plot points jumbled together - badly and in London. Right down to a trash chute escape, death star-ish-blow-uppy-plan, clunky droids with stupid voices, and best of all... a non digi-Peter Cushing!

Promo video of bridge installation is tough to watch, the enthusiasm and excitement marred by what happened.
