Yep. I have a ceramic tray on my entertainment center that's near my front door. I've used for years as my stash tray. I can't remember the last time I misplaced my keys.
Is it really smoky from the fires where you are? I've been keeping-up with that...such a shame. Do they know how the fires were started?.

I saw a video posted of a young man who was just beside himself because a wild baby rabbit was trying to escape the fire. He was trying to catch it and freaked because it started running back towards the fire. He rescued the animal...watching almost brought tears to my eyes.
I saw that, too. It was just a tiny bunny, not even a jackrabbit. I can't imagine how he spotted the bunny, but dude's a total stud for jumping in near the flames to rescue it!IWish wrote:I saw a video posted of a young man who was just beside himself because a wild baby rabbit was trying to escape the fire. A fire started today about 60 miles from where I live. No smoke visible here yet, but about 30 miles North of here it is.IWish wrote:Yep. You can definitely tell who got the hunting license in 6th grade vs. those that maybe never did...fredo wrote:Rabbit population: 253,894,116,239,771,5067

Yes, I agree. I so admire people who stop to mitigate what harm they can in such perilous or dire circumstances. That young man was not foolhardy; the article I read stated "he declined the opportunity to be interviewed." As Codeblue would say, "Duh!"IWish wrote:Hopefully, the winds won't change if it's currently blowing West/offshore.
Tweetick, that young man was so brave...by all appearances, he was just a few feet from the fire.
