I have so many questions about this:

Why would eBay limit the sales on a hot item, like that? Don't think I've ever heard of them doing that.

If she's a big time author, you'd think she has some money she could donate to her cause rather than this scheme.

On the same note...losing 23k is financial ruin for her? Sounds like she's got bigger problems.

Lolz. Krayola's constant posting in here and FB of the "Last" prints he's "Found" makes me think he reprints like Doyle does old Stouts.

Yeah, I dunno. Cause you don't know which one you've got until it hatches?? Which apparently can take anywhere from an hour to a few days??

The hardest one to get is the Toys R Us exclusive one apparently. I'm just glad I was able to grab one online in early November from Walmart before these things really took off. Parents are waiting outside stores at 4am in the cold for them now.

I think the reason eBay limits items like these is the potential for bootlegs to be advertised and sold as the original. Above a certain amount and you have to have proof of wholesale from the manufacturer.

She could just make 30 new ebay accounts though.

i will never understand this type of consumerism surrounding weird fads that seem utterly stupid (and yes, i see the irony surrounding a post like this as a limited edition art collector).

Don't worry. You should be hearing about beanie babies soon. In 2029 you'll know what a hatchimal is.
