Thought it could be amusing to track some of the lamer attempts at flips - here's my first nominee for this week:

At $165 shipped - this didn't go as planned:

Yep--I own that print. Nice to know it has already depreciated. Although that doesn't take into account the magazine sub. It will still look great next to my "Vintage Lennon."

A blue "Legend" sold for $240? Yellow is vastly superior.

$250 for the pair shipped and insured. Both are mint. Shipping should be around 7 or 8 bucks.

FYI: this was the collection that didn't make my walls, still beats your shitty little collections...and if it doesn't, I still couldn't care less.

I can't pull it up on 'My eBay' anymore because I guess it's been a while, but 'Patisrambo' on EB (pzhangisrambo on eBay) suffered a pretty brutal failip on Slater's x/10 variant of his recent Black Keys print - he bought it for $75 + Shipping from Todd, then I won it within a couple weeks for $41 on eBay. But his solution to that was to not come through with the sale, and admitting that he got a 'better offer' after I'd won it... making him a super-powered douche-rocket. I still ended up with the print in the end, and it's a beauty of a variant...

I don't know if this would be considered a flip but the auction was definitely a fail
