Ate Chipotle burritos earlier tonight for the first time. The hype is real. And I lived in SF for almost 2 years.

Chipotle is disgusting. Dunno WTF SF has to do with anything.

In the past, I've made stuffed peppers the way my mom used to make 'em...ya' know...throw some catsup on top and be done with it. I don't eat ground beef much these days, but do crave some good 'ole comfort food on occasion - stuffed peppers and mashed taters. Found this recipe and the reviewers raved about the sauce, so I wanted to try it. I had extra meat mixture, so I made 1/2 doz meatballs on the side and also topped with the sauce...Delicious!

I used green peppers.

I did not blanch the peppers (I don't eat them - to me, they're just for flavor.)

I used cooked white rice in place of breadcrumbs.

I did not top with bacon. I did not add red pepper flakes, oregano and parsley in meat mixture. (Personal preference, since two of the spices are in the 'sauce'.)

Lemon cheesecake, but not until tomorrow. Topped with sweet/tangy lemon sauce. To die for. :D

Had my first visit to Mastro's for a steak dinner with some coworkers. A bit more than other places but really enjoyed everything I had and my Porterhouse was pretty much perfect. I also love when anyone gets a Key Lime Pie right and they did.

If i am not mistaken that cut of venison looks like it came from Yarra Valley https://www.gamemeats.com.au who produce with out a doubt the best game meats in OZ. A 72 Grange would of married with that cut like bacon does to a soft poached egg. Your a lucky man for me i am stuck with eating Isabella from next door...

Sorry mate but you are mistaken. This is from the Vic high plains, taken from a sambar deer.
Haven’t heard of that site before but it does look interesting. Need to check it out I think, cheers

Ground Moose Tacos. I always feel an extra burst of energy after eating Moose which I don't get from venison.
