Pet Peeves- Vent Here! Let me feel your pain.
I actually had someone suggest that we put all the people who are sick into the same room to work. I said "you mean like a leper colony?"fredo wrote:I expect daily reports from sensitivity training camp.

Nothing aggravates me more than sick people not being considerate of infecting others

Yes. I highly encourage employees to leave if sick. There's no macho mode to being sick at work. You're not performing and exposing others to you fudgewottagunn wrote:do you guys have paid sick leave?
pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.
We do in the firm I work for, but there are these "dedicated" employees that do not give a fudge: too dedicated. This includes the fucktard senior partner, who worked through this horrendous flu, spending about 11-12 hours in the office, making every single individual sick with the same drymounting flu, literally everyone in the firm had it (I was the only the only one who took a few days off and got over it pretty quickly), then some clients, etc. What's worse is that because of the fucktard, my daughter, who was about 9 months old back then, caught the drymounting flu from me, in spite of me wearing a face mask at all times in the house. It was the first time she's ever been sick and she had really tough times dealing with it. As a result, I had to take a another whole week off to care for her.wottagunn wrote:do you guys have paid sick leave?
Needless to say, the fucktard walked around with the flu nearly two months because he didn't give a fudge about taking care of himself or others. That was almost two years ago, but I still remember and drymounting hate him for it
Yeah. But idiots around here are workaholics and dont understand the concept of the overall company productivity going down if they infect everyonewottagunn wrote:do you guys have paid sick leave?

I've developed a few peeves about being served iced tea in a restaurant. If I'm asking for lemon and sugar the tea should be served with a long spoon so I'm not trying to stir my tea with the straw. And if you're going to refill my glass without asking you should be bringing me another lemon. I had it just right...
