Everything is insanely perfect but my kitchen. I'm secretly hoping one in particular falls on my house so I can get a new one.earlgreytoast wrote:Uh, yeah, people being proactive and cautious due to bad weather, great peeves guys! Your lives must be insanely perfect if these are your peeves.

Gonna need a canoe to get to your house from I-77 if the toll lane construction floods again.
Might as well start a list
Bread
Milk
Canoe
New Kitchen

I saw pics of the flooding on I-77....just a mess. I moved offices to the University area so I can now avoid that crapfest. The tree I want to fall on my house is a 100'+ maple that is dying. I figure if it falls I won't have to pay for it to be removed once it is dead. The kitchen would be a bonus. I have a creek in my backyard that I don't want to reach my house because I don't have flood insurance. We had 6 inches of rain in 2 hours a few years back and it flooded the other side but my side stayed dry. Public money for Big Sport.

Half a billion and most of the central city (pop. 300K) is still derelict 7 years after the quakes, and they're raising property taxes 50% to essentially pay off the national govt. SAD!

just a foil for me today, thanks
300,000, eh. But they did say that the city "needed" if it wants to be "taken seriously", whatever that means. Sad, I agree. And ridiculous, I might add.fredo wrote:Public money for Big Sport.
