Just heard that. I wasnt real close with him but we were both on the marathon that was 95 tour, a time when everybody that was going to every needed each other to survive. I Caravaned with him, slept in rest areas with him, danced my ass of with him. He certainly wasn't the warm/fuzzy type that I was drawn to, but dude LOVED the band. I would take a floor full of AG over the new school scenesters 10x out of 10. RIP AG

those are troll bots setting up for future disinformation.

most likely the idea is to spread links on popularly crawled forums and have those links help their ranking in search engines. the forum may not be active but eb gets crawled and is seen as a real site with decent reputation. no idea if it actually works though. yes, there are solutions like using cloudflare to filter and manage that stuff but it comes with some drawbacks and is another expense and solution to maintain by a very small crew.
