After I pushed send and tried to read it, I almost deleted it.
Big ask for anyone to go through that.
Sorry!

They sent through 10 day ups ground.
I’m dreading this tube.

♥️ you Mikey!

I received 3 tubes in the last 2 days.
All 3 packed like fudge and subsequently damaged.

Remember optik rock?
Yeah… he knows better.
Craft was about a 1/2 inch bigger than the poster.
Banged all up.

This eBay guy:

I wrote:
I have to ask about conditions since it’s not mentioned in your listing and that is normally a huge red flag. Thank you.

Donkey:
Any damage would be shown or stated. Only an idiot would sell damaged posters and not state it. Look at my feedback. 25 years of shipping posters. One of the oldest and most trusted poster accounts on eBay. Posters are MINT. This is the deal of the century and less than I paid for them

Me;
I dont know if you’ve ever purchased posters on eBay, but of course I have to ask the condition if it’s not listed.
There are so many kooks, I receive damaged posters almost weekly:
You wouldn’t believe all the bs i go through doing this.
Glad to hear they are in mint condition.
Glad to hear you know what’s what.
Since there are 3 posters, please use 2 pieces of thick craft paper, the roll will be heavy and most likely crunch.

Donkey:
Ignores request.
One piece of craft makes it.
It was really thick:
But, this guy stuffs six different wadded up handfuls of paper in the ends, and they get jammed way down into the tube and scuff up the top poster like crazy.
I swear, I almost told him to not stuff anything in the end, but I did not want to get called an idiot again or whatever. He would’ve ignored it anyway.

3rd tube.
Double checked with him for any damage.
Another one of those listings where they spend hours upon end, telling you how the imagery and the music fits the poster perfectly and it’s a must for any true fan. Yet, no mention of the poster condition, how it will be packed, anything that you really need to know.
( I’m going off of memory here )
So again, I inquire about condition, and he says that there is a good sized ding in the top, right. Which there was, I expected that. I did not expect huge roll bends, and the bent/folded bottom corner because the craft was too drymounting small.

Looks like things are back to normal.
So many drymounting HACKS out there it’s maddening AF.

eBay Donkey:

You probably shouldn’t by posters off eBay. I literally see no damage there. These posters were from a venue, shipped there, handled by merch staff, at a concert, taken home. Perhaps you should go to artists factory and pull them right off the press as you are so specific about it. My guy said ‘don’t sell to this person’ lesson learned. Please send them back, and if you try and leave bad feedback I will have it removed and report you. There’s no way eBay would side with you over this

The cure posters kook with the wadded up paper that scuffed up the top poster.
There are 3-4 messages after this one.

2nd email from eBay donkey d bag:

“ The red flag was you from the start. Where the photos of all the damage? “

3 more emails after that trying to get me to send back.
I sent the 4 pictures in my 1st and only post- tube message.
Guess they aren’t good enough?
The thing is I got the set of 3 Emek Cure posters
for $100 plus shipping. So of course he wants me to send back. He sold them too cheap.

Thoughts?

Haha!
That beating a dead horse is specifically for me shortly after the mailman comes.
It should be my - whatever you call the picture next to your name that I can never figure out how to do.

Update:
The roll bends guy was so cool.
He offered me $65 refund. I told him that was too much and that I would be happy with $25 if that is OK with him..
For me roll bends are worse than corner bumps, but hopefully it will look fine when it’s flat.

How to treat people and how not to treat people all in one usps delivery.
Happy weekend.

Did y’all see that The Church and Afghan Whigs are doing a little tour?

The latest from wads of sandpaper scuff master scuff..

“I open all my claims in front of the postal inspector, so please make sure all 3 are sent back and the exact numbers that were sent. Thanks. Will oasis the refund as soon as they arrive. I don’t want a giant back and forth on this. So either send them back or keep them and deal with it. You got 3 posters for the price of one. Like I say, I’m happy to have them back, you are my first complaint on posters in 25 years. “

He doesn’t want a giant back and forth on this.

This guy is a piece of work.
Don’t want to send three posters back because one was scuffed tochit.
It breaks up the set to send one back, not worth the hassle for $33.
And I risk whatever psycho will do.
He sounds nuts.
Rather just keep them and give him bad feedback.
I normally don’t give bad feedback.
I wouldn’t have for this situation, but the guy is such a dickhead for no reason.
All I did was open a tube that contained a poster damaged because he stuffed crap in the tube.
Blocked him from my auctions.
But he sounds like the kind of person who will have a friend mess with me.

It’s gotten to the point where it’s best that I open tubes with no one home.
It’s usually a loud profanity riddled process.
3 tubes in a row… not even a record.
It’s par.

Thanks for tuning in.
Hope y’all have a great weekend.

My last 3 orders showed up damaged. One tube with no end cap, one with a major dent in tube and third one, an oversized tube with nothing protecting art from moving around inside tube getting destroyed in transit. I seriously think I have to stop buying from eBay. Nothing but fukking headaches and amateur Funko fukks. Does no one how to pack and ship a print anymore? I love how the cockroaches take the obey stickers out and sell the print. Asked if the one obey print came with stickers and the epic response was "Does it say stickers included in my auction?" I had a feeling this transaction was going to be painful...and my intuition was accurate. Enjoy your destroyed poster and thanks for the refund. If any of these scenarios sounds like you plz go 🖕 fkk-yrslf :ziggi:
*update - finally refunded for all three sh*t packed prints that showed up damaged and still looking for an Obey aqua set... anyone? :ziggi:

EB member Fat Mike 68

Asked him if he wanted to work on a trade.
Listed 3 posters he has for trade I was interested in.
Mentioned I have one one his ISO list.

He says my Phish Burgettstown
for
His Phish Pollock Hockey Variant.

I say:

“ Can’t do it man…
I recently sold my spare Milward for $660.
September.
The previous sale was $600.
The latest sale was Christmas- $360 but it was sold by a noob with zero mention of condition and it had been framed.
Not expecting 660 in trade value, but it’s worth more than the Pollock variant.
( For some reason the variant has been running around $270… I’d consider it at minimum $350-$400. Especially via trade )
Was hoping to do a multiple poster deal and line up a deal we both like?
I’ve got a lot of Phish… anything else in there you’re after?
Thoughts? “

Fat Mike 68
Dont contact me again with an uneven trade. You can take my offer or leave. I dont want anything you have. Thanks!

The Pollock just sold for 100 and 50 drymounting bucks.
I offer 350-400 in trade. Last 4 sales avg $265.
Sure there are bigger a holes.
But this is EB.

Probably would have been packed like crap and damaged anyway. No feedback. Zero posts.
Dodged a bullet.
At least he said thanks.
Still made the DBM thread.
