I didnt discover elephant and piggie until this year. My youngest LOVES them. I was just getting my voices perfected and now she took over and reads them to me. Was psyched to find out Mo Willems is having an exhibit of the original in Cooperstown this spring. Definitely gonna hit that with her

Congrats!

My advice would be to not buy a single one of them.

Check them out at the public library.
Collect them all. Before you Die®

Bridge of Terabithia is my recommendation. I loved it when I was a child and now my son and daughter love it also.

Kind of related to this thread for those lucky who live close by. We won’t be in Toronto until much later this year or early next, unfortunately.

The places it'll go: Dr. Seuss exhibition opening in Toronto

There are a few cities in North America the exhibit will take place. Check it out. It is a no brainer, IMO, take your kids there, regardless of how young or old. drymount, I’d hit it myself without the kids even, lol.

I know this artist/writer personally and she has some wonderful books that send great messages about the conservation of our oceans. I also own few of her originals taken directly from her book pages. she writes and illustrates all her books. I also have a massive wall piece in my vacation rental in Key Largo of hers that is incredible!

My almost 3-year old really loves these ones now:

They are both library books but spent quite a bit of time in our house. Pretty sure she would currently be fine if these were the only two books we had.

She used to obsess with this one until fairly recently:

I just requested the two Mo Willems elephant and piggie biggie books from my library.

Traction Man is my 5 year old's favorite new book as of late. Random pickup in a bundle that the library put together.
