Tried my hand at a commemorative QOTSA piece

Talk about anything here. Post lifespan is 1 year.

I attended a Queens of The Stone Age and Eagles of Death Metal free show at a 1,000 person club in Vancouver, BC on August 4th.

They didn't have any posters/prints to commemorate the night, so I tried my hand at making something to stick on my wall.

Wanted to share it...and it you have some feedback, that would be appreciated.

I like the concept and the execution, that's a good looking gig poster :notworthy:

Are you going to screen print it or? Was it all digitally created?

Thank you very much.

This was all created digitally. I found some old navy tattoo photo archived and spent some time picking out one that I thought would work best.

I then cleared the spot on the back for the text, laid down a base font and traced it/bolstered it out to give it a more hand-drawn feel.

I then did some photoshoppery to clone over some of the real tattoo to add realism to the text.

I then did this for the skull, which was based on a drawing I found online.

Then I added the photoaging in a few layers and finished it off with the burnt style border.

I am looking to screen print it, but I don't know who to go to in my area.

Work in progress for now.
