Anyone know Kbuttstadt? Potential problem with sale.

Talk about anything here. Post lifespan is 1 year.

Hey-

Anyone know Kbuttstadt? (Username although close to real name)

Made arrangements to buy print #17/70 of GoodFellas 18 Wilson - Variant. Paid via venmo last Monday (7/16) at his request as his PP was having issues "because of a payment he didn't make"

He acknowledged receipt of the payment and said it's the coolest print he's seen in a long time and that I was going to love it and then dropped off the face of the earth.
It's been complete radio silence since then no response to email, message here or venmo message.

It looks like he followed through with the sale of the sister print.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mike

pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.

Would posting his twitter, venmo, and phone number get me banned?

fwiw I paid for a $100 print on May 16th and didn't get it until July 11. Took some hounding on my part to finally get it shopped. Seller included a few small handbills as a bonus to say he was sorry.

hope it works out for you.

I know he's an artist and have seen him on Facebook. Should I get in touch with him for you?

If you happen to run in similar circles, dropping him a note and asking that he get in touch with me would be awesome. I'd really appreciate it, but please don't go out of your way.

I don't want to overreact but the complete lack of communication, while he's actively posting on twitter, has me doing things like starting this thread.

I'm OK with slow delivery, I'd just like to know.

Some people take a long time to get to the post office. It's a fact.

Yeah, but it only takes a minute or less to answer a pm or an email. No excuse for that, IMO.
