Ireland (Trip in May)

Looks like you have a pretty good list of ideas already. Are you based in Dublin for the whole trip. Some of the places listed (Cork, Kerry) would be fine as long as you didn't have to get back to Dublin that night. I live in Kilkenny.

Another vote for Galway + Cliffs of Moher. Also every single tiny pub you can find.

Spent a birthday at McDaid's in Dublin. I've had worse hangovers, but not many.

So another place i personally recommend checking out is Downpatrick Head in County Mayo. This is the spot I actually proposed to my wife.
First pic is a picture of "The Stack". Super unique and unbelievable site.
Second pic is a picture of the cliffs shot from my drone.
Definitely not as tall as the Cliffs of Moher, but I'd argue just as breathtaking.

My flight is tomorrow, I'll be getting into Dublin late Saturday so the trip really begins Sunday.

Many thanks again for all the recommendations!

Just returned from my trip and had a killer time, very cool country and absolutely need to just chat with people there.

The Long Hall was easily my favorite Pub, like being in someones living room and their Guinness pour was the best I had. Ended up outside of Dublin more than expected and got to see some really beautiful places.

A few shots from a few spots (Dublin, Kilkenny, Glendalough, Ballintoy, Howth)

The crappy indoor shot is inside the Long Hall.

Excited to find this thread. I'm headed there in August for my 40th. Doing three days in Dublin, three days in Dingle (during the races), two days in Galway and one day in Slane (Newgrange/Slane Castle) before we fly out. Can't wait!

Some great photos! Didn't make it to Galway then?

Thought you would have been sitting on the bar stool like Phil Lynott in the Long Hall like in the "Old Town" video.
Great Guinness though as you said.

Someone I was with really loves Dingle. Have a great time!

Unfortunately not, Cork was also missed.

It was tempting, I am a big TL fan and it was cool to be in that place, just a lovely spot.
