Buy my bottle openers, help out a good dude.

Talk about anything here. Post lifespan is 1 year.

Edit: WOW! All spots are filled. Thanks so much for all the purchases. Hopefully it’ll help them out a little.
I’ll keep everyone that signed up in the loop on the progress of the things and contact you as your spots are fulfilled.

You guys are the best! Thanks again!

Cheers!

Hi guys!

So my best buddy Cyrus and his wife were in the path of the storm that swept through the southeast last night. Thankfully, they were hiding out in the basement and made it through the storm unharmed, but their house was destroyed.

I'd like to try and do something to help them ease the monetary burden of starting over from scratch.

Some of you know that I make bottle openers. Pretty cool little things if I do say so myself. They look nice, and they open beer! What more could you ask for. If you like handmade things that open beer, continue below. If not, thanks for reading this far, and enjoy your apple juice.

I'm going to hack out a couple dozen and try to sell them.
I'm offering up 25 bottle openers at $40 a piece if anyone is interested. I'll cover shipping. All the procedes will go to them for whatever they need it for.

Since these are handmade with a hatchet and a knife, it'll take me a few weeks to make them all. So what I was thinking is, you buy a spot, and based on the order paid, I'll send you a pic of a couple or three bottle openers as they are completed, then you can pick which one you like best.
I've got a pile of Maple I salvaged from the local YMCA basketball court and it's freaking beautiful. Most (or all) of them will be made from that. Some may be birdseye, some flame, some may be charred Shou Sugi Ban style, some may have stripe inlays, who knows? I just do what the wood tells me. Here's a few from that rock Hard Maple to show what you can expect to get for your hard earned money.

So, yeah, buy an heirloom quality thing and help out a middle school vice principal, a baseball coach, a mentor, and a nurse all at the same time. Everybody wins!

P.M. me if interested, and thanks for reading!
