I believe in my quart size CB maker, I put in about 14 scoops of grounds to let it steep overnight. Sooooo... 14 tsp per 32oz? Or something like that.

Awesome I'll give that a try

Yeah, a little heavy.... sometimes I add a tad bit of water when I pour it into my YETI, because I don't need ice which is nice. But that ratio I gave you should aim towards the more heavy side.

I don't make it at home myself, but there's a guy nearby my work who makes a mean cold brew. Had one yesterday afternoon when I was sweating my balls off and it was just the right kick I needed.

My first home brew was a Mexican coffee that was dyno-mite.

Worked out pretty good considering I used coffee ground for a drip style coffee maker. Only made the filter process a little draw out. Over all next time I'll grind my own beans at the store. Very good taste though.

Nitro brew is where it's at.

But I enjoy cold brew as well. Haven't brewed it home though yet.

Been on the cold brew kick since this thread popped up. I can officially say I have cut the cord. I do think I need to invest in cold brew maker though. I am just using a 1 gallon pitcher now then filtering through a mesh screen. Then traditional coffee filters to get the fine sediment out.

Wife has also said hot coffee is no longer for her based on the taste of the cold brew. This statement was even made on an outting when it was -10 F.

:pint:
