Shipping - Something can always go wrong

Talk about anything here. Post lifespan is 1 year.

Don't want to continue hijacking other guys thread as trying to sell a piece on it.

But damn even when all shipping and packing appear to be done correctly something can go wrong. Waiting to hear from GraffitiStreet but my Guitar Player by Joachim was damaged, paper stuck to the print across the shirt. They were hand finished and not sure if packed too soon or weather related. Two other pieces received yesterday no issues and one also from UK a 3D piece and my Doaly both perfect.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Would hope an easy clean. Waiting to see what gallery says, wasn't an expensive piece but a fun little one.

I can't fathom why they would use black paper to protect the surface of the print.

I thought the same, and it felt just like the paper used to wrap a gift not glassine as with the others.

Was my first buy through graffiti street and hope it all works out as there is something else I want from them but don't want to flush my money down the drain due to mishandling or shipping.

The number of galleries and artists that can't pack for fudge astounds me. Especially when some of them deal in fairly expensive ($500- $2000) artwork.

Graffiti Street just got back to me, asked me to return so they can provide a replacement though they did not provide a shipping label so need to sort that out. Also having me ship as zero value since damaged print. Nice way to avoid customs as it was stuck for a week with US customs. Damn Trump not letting anything into this country with a Latin flare.

it was an 8/10 - delivery, timing and content were solid. loose 2 points cause its classic blue banter BUT still solid AF.

Too late for that buddy, bunch of jerks in a circle here lovin on one another, though nothing wrong with that boys I'm not here to judge..... :D

Since you are all so interested. Just heard back from the gallery, they reached out to the artist and confirmed he can make another one and have it out next week. Appreciative of that.

Also here is a recent mural by Joachim by the way. Feel free to carry on children....
