I'm sure they do.

I'll list things for stupid money if I can't find recent sales, listings etc etc. You never know what can happen. There are a lot of people with a lot of money out there.

Listing something for a stupid high price and having no real expectation for it to sell at that price but being very happy if it does works sometimes, more often if you allow them to make an offer and you have a lot of patience.

To answer your question, yes, the listing did sell for that amount. Not sure about what people are saying about fake sales when it comes to eBay. If the seller had an alternate user name, he would have to pay the fees to eBay and paypal (if the transaction was completed). The cost of that to try to validate your price or lower/raise it on a relisting of the same item to gain validity or more interested buyers is not financially logical. The only other option for a "fake" sale is if the user was in cahoots with a fellow user on eBay and afterward the other user disputed the sale and it was cancelled. However, what would be gained in doing so and relisting the item? But then again we all know that the world is flat and a man has never landed on the moon. The sale was real, did you notice how many watchers there were on the item? Does not validate the sale, but it all comes down to supply and demand, and some financially successful person who can afford such a purchase.

You're a troll. You're not making any contribution to the thread, you're a troll. We're guessing who trolls are. You know most users who only make jokes without trying to help are trolls? - Well I'm going home alright? EB's playing with its new guys.

So what you're saying is that was your sale.
