If you have a few models in mind please post them and we can help research/compare.

Thanks. At this point I'm starting to think a better question is "where can I find old 2015 leftover stock." Lol. I expected to get past-year stuff for like $600-700, but it looks like that's not the case.

Heads-up -- Dell has a Vizio E65 + $350 GC for $899. Sell the GC for $300 and your net cost is right there.

Edit: GC expires in 90 days, so you might have some trouble selling it.

The reviews on the Roku TV look pretty promosing:

Seems like it nicely balanced the features you'd want, but at a budget price.

Walmart is clearing out a 65" 2015 Samsung for $399. slim chance there's stock in your area but worth a shot for that price. check local stock here

65" Vizio E65-61 (2017 model) refurb for $590

----

thanks to your post I ventured over to slickdeals and upgraded my setup for almost nothing  . Sold my old TV and bought a 55" LeEco for only $349. It's a great mid-range TV (4k, HDR10, built-in Android for easy Kodi setup, aluminium body). LeEco is Chinese company that went balls out on the US market then quickly crashed and burned. Wal-mart is doing a firesale and lots of stores still have the 55" model at that price. More info here if anyone's interested

My buddy just got the 9000 series and it's simply amazing
Been rockin my old LN40A650 for nearly a decade and an seriouly considering upgrading to the 8000 or 9000 series. Not sold on OLED of QLED yet and figure it's a ways off until they are priced where I would consider it

The Samsung 9000 series is awesome! I've got a 48" that I use as my main monitor (so much awesome about this set).
