Thanks for posting this. It helped a lot to make a decision.

NordVPN does the trick for me.

I finally signed up for a VPN today. I'm using ExpressVPN. From the research I've done they've got great reviews and customer service. Plus, a 30-day money back guarantee. It came to $99.95 for 12 months, billed in one lump sum. We'll see how it goes!

Nice choice, didn't see this thread earlier but I would of recommended Express. Been using it for around 2 years and it's a nice service.

Lots of platform options as well.

If you are researching VPN services may be worthwhile to look into https://1.1.1.1 as well. Great thread BTW.

I just recently switched from BTGuard VPN to TorGuard Proxy. Check providers for server locations close to you, it makes a big difference.

After a day of use, the VPN for my computer is awesome and pretty fast. I have faster Internet speed without it but with it, I don't notice much of a difference. I downloaded the VPN app as well to use on my iPhone and I have noticed a BIG difference in that. It is extremely slow compared to when it's turned off. Even something like checking the app store for updates or updating my mail seems to take much longer than usual. I will continue to use it for my PC but if it continues to be this slow on my iPhone, I may not use it.

I ended up going with cyberghost and I'm liking it. I have the same issue as you do Irish with the phone. The VPN seems to really slow it down, so I haven't used the VPN with it for about a month...

I second this. I implemented 1.1.1.1 DNS directly into my nighthawk router. Don't be fooled by it being faster than say Google's DNS (8.8.8.8, which is my second choice), because nobody can tell a difference between microseconds, but just know that you queries are not being monitored and sold. I also have it on my phone.

Now what I want is a VPN that I can install on my Apple TV 4K or directly on my R6400 Nighthawk router. SO far, I haven't been able to find one. This is the only way I can watch the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Yes, b2b world series appearances, yet only Spectrum subscribers can watch the Dodgers. Also, F Apple for saying what apps I'm allowed to install on my device.
