What kind of TV are you running it on? I guess I never thought of using a smart tv instead of the firestick
curious about this too . . . dumping cable in august and making the switch to streaming

My kodi updated through firestick and all my sources stopped working. I tried a few new installs through youtube and all sources were dead.

Anyone have a new install tutorial for firestick?

I've been having good luck w/Elysium.

Rumor has it that the Exodus folks have relaunched as Covenant

Signed up for "Troypoint" emails (links from above.) He sends out a bunch of helpful stuff, i.e.-stop buffering on kodi, stream local channels, etc.

If you are using lg smart tv, you don't as they run WebOS. you will need an external device.

And covenant became one of the top kodi addon.

Cancelled our cable last week and made the leap to IPTV on Kodi.

Went w/Players Klub ($5/mo), it's been streaming flawless thus far (don't watch much tv though.)

900 HD channels w/video on demand movies, pay per view streams, NFL ticket channels, etc. Seems reasonable.

If you need more Kodi tutorials for the firestick.

I usually use this website.
http://techdroidlife.com or http://addonhq.com

Then you can install covenant that kinda replace exodus

You can install showbox, terrarium, and other cool programs with droidbuddy2

Yeah, I use the fire tv rather than the stick. Much faster, less lag, and expandable storage.

It did still work to some extent for me, but was very glitchy and a lot of streams were removed. Kodi has become a bit of a pain these days, might be moving on until more robust add-ons are available.

Think I am still on 16.0 and Exodus has been working with little to no issues on my end. Have a second stick I haven't been using I am going to try out the latest KODI on for the bedroom tv.
