Didn't see a dedicated Apple thread, figured I'd start one! This thread is for anything and everything Apple. If you don't like Apple, that's cool, just try to keep the hate to a minimum :)

I've been a longtime Apple user (still rocking my 2007iMac and iPod Video), hoping to see the long rumored iMac refresh with Retina Display today!

I'm hoping to see a Macbook Air with Retina, but rumor has it that won't happen today.
Because it's the print we deserve, but not the one we need right now. So we'll hunt it.

Let's not start sucking each other's dicks quite yet.

I wonder how well Adobe Creative Cloud 2014 plays with Yosemite.

I've been using the Yosemite public beta for a couple of months now on my early '11 MBP. It seems much smoother and quicker than Mavericks ever was. I'm downloading the final release version now.

Same here, except I'm running it on my mid 2007 iMac. Just downloaded the full release, all good so far! Definitely need to be upgrading soon though... if I can afford it.

I just replaced my 2008 MBP with one of the 2012 refurbs that are in the apple store. Needless to say going from a core 2 duo to a quad core i7 is a nice jump. Just put Yosemite on it as well and all good so far. Still getting used to some new things, most of which probably arent new, just new to me since I think I was running snow leopard on my old MBP.

Upgraded to Yosemite yesterday and pretty impressed so far... Only thing that I dont like is I cannot pic the dock anymore to the left side bottom like I was able to before... I have a Macbook Pro Retina I use for work, and use dual screens normally. Having the dock in the middle of the two screens is a little irritating, so hopefully they change this.

Updated my 27" iMac last night, and spent half the morning today uninstalling CC Manager etc, so that I could update my stuff to CC 2014. Took a bit but running like a champ now! Going to need to update the iMac at the office now, digging this new look/feel!

I upgraded my 2010 27" iMac this morning and it is running great! I guess it helps that I put an ssd drive in it about a year ago, but I axtuqlly think it is faster than Mavericks.

Agreed! Mine is a late 2012 model and still going strong (no SDD), but this build seems to be pushing faster than its been in a while! I was scared too, tried installing the beta months ago and it was fatal error after fatal error, had to restore from an old time machine backup, so for this to be running so smooth is awesome!

Now to decide if the wife's Air needs to be updated right now or not... but HAVE to do a backup of it first!
