Our daughter scored the first goal, assisted the 2nd, and scored the winner on a PK she earned in the last minute. #proudsoccerdad

FWIW her team has more heart than the USMNT....

That's awesome - congrats!

Can't wait for my 5 year old son to get more info soccer.

This is Xero my juvenile redtailed hawk. :D

No, as far as I know she isn't taking on any more commissions yet but I do own wolfsbane. Hunt small game with the redtail.

That's awesome Sith! Just saw a cool story on Vice about using hunting birds on farms/vineyards to keep away other birds and pests.

Me too. There's a few nesting pairs of Peregrines here as well. They are fun to watch and hunt with. All you see is a poof of feathers and lunch is served.

Yeah abatement is pretty big on the west coast with the vineyards and in Europe. Mostly falcons and some Harris hawks or hybrids. It's a great natural remedy for pests vs chemicals and electronic contraptions.

Yeah, looked like a great job - outside on farms with your birds all day. Not easy by any means, but really interesting.
