The Ken Taylor Club.

Talk about anything here. Post lifespan is 1 year.

Another Artist Club? You can't be serious. Well, yep, I am serious. I've been wanting to start up a Ken Taylor club for a while now and have been discussing with a few people on the Ken Taylor Fan page on Facebook about points and the likes for it.

I'm a huge Ken Taylor fan and he was the artist that got me into this crazy collecting game. I've seen the Mike Mitchell threads, the Mossmass giveaway, the Keyes, Kawasaki and of course, the original, the Horkey Club. So why not have a Ken Taylor Club (TKTC).

The rules are pretty simple:

0.5 - Tshirt
0.5 - Vinyl
0.5 - Beer or Bluray
1 - unframed regular
2 - unframed variant
2 - Spider Gremlin
3 - signed regular (signed CoA's don't count)
4 - signed variant (signed CoA's don't count)
5 - Ken Taylor inspired tattoo
5 - Photo with Ken
5 - framed print (reg or variant)
7 - framed signed print (reg or variant)
7 - skateboard 'print'
7 - metal/wood variant
30 - OG

That's the points break down. Include a picture of your collection in your post. They all don't have to be in the one shot. If you have an OG, then please include a piece of paper with your EB username alongside the OG so nobody else can take the picture.

The points break down this way:

30 points - Three or more framed prints
45 points - Less than three framed prints

I'm going to do a giveaway to start off with, with the cut off being in two weeks time. If anyone else wants to giveaway anything for the other participants of the Ken Taylor Club, feel free to. Also, would help for other members of TKTC to help out with drops.

The first giveaway will be a gig print starter pack (prints will be kept secret til the person receives them). In two weeks I'll do a number count and get people to select a number and then do a random number selector to find the winner.

Here's my collection so far (a few prints are missing as they haven't arrived yet):

Any questions, shoot them my way.

I like this :D
Figuring out if I have enough points here.

Do promos/handbills count, such as the Sierra Nevada ones? I have multiple of the Narwhal one, would each count?

Love his illustration style, even dem clouds...

What happens next? 8)

(Some are variants, some are signed but I'm over the line irrespective, so I couldn't be bothered counting...)

Same as a reg. Although maybe I might make it six points if it's a signed framed print. Seven points for a signed framed print.

Rubberneck - throw pics up of your prints. Would love to see your collection.

He's at the top of my collection as well but I only have 20 prints so far. Plenty of signed gems thanks to flatstock though. Will post a pic of my stuff soon. :pint:

I'll have to have a think about that. Possibly a point each - no duplicates.

Ugh! I have a lot of KT, but only 2 framed - there should be special dispensation for people who live in one-bedroom apartments (I only have ONE Stout framed for christs sakes :D ) I'll see if there's a little bit of space to move stuff around in here for next year - jelly to be outside the circle now, but I'll break in!!!

That Terminator 2 metal is phenomenal. The only way I'd ever consider owning that print would be the metal version.

Great idea! Think I'm clocking in around 48 points. I'll try and amass everything for pictures tomorrow. Thanks for taking the time to do this, DonPiano!
