I work at a screen printing shop, so I'm on my feet all day, but my heart rate is never elevated and I've been gaining a bit of weight. Today I decided instead of taking the bus the 2.5 km (I'm Canadian) to work, I would run it. I had to stop a few times, and it definitely kicked my butt, but it felt good too! I am excited to do it again after work. Gonna try to do the 5 km (3 miles) Monday to Friday and see where it takes me!

start slow!

I'm definitely walking a lot of the distance, haha. Yesterday I was able to go for 5 minutes without stopping, which felt like a major milestone.

Nothing wrong with that, you'll find yourself being able to run a little longer every day. Keep it up!

Did a timed mile with some friends. The first time I've raced a mile in a long time and set a crazy goal of sub 6. Ended with a time of 5:54 and thought my heart was going to explode. I then ate some ice cream and shotgunned a beer because that's the only way to celebrate a new mile PR.

Nice Z.

bodybuilding.com just had a good sale / still is.

Got my favorite protein, musclepharm ISOLATE 5lb normally 75 for 60. https://www.bodybuilding.com/store/musclepharm/combat-100-percent-isolate.html

Already had BCAA, so some more glutamine. https://www.bodybuilding.com/store/kaged-muscle/glutamine-powder.html

And lastly, going to cycle on some quadralean probably end of july as I just got off a cycle of a similar product that finished in may. https://www.bodybuilding.com/store/rsp-nutrition/quadralean.html
First time trying quadralean, pretty excited, good reviews.

Current routine is running 3-4 miles on lunch M W F. Weights T TH. More cardio / yard work on the weekends. Ice Hockey once a week as well. Haven't felt this good about myself in a long time. Hopefully everyone is doing what they can to hit their goals.

Oh, and just bought these bad boys. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HFL88V4

For the marathon, or just going to be in Chicago?

Week one is done. 44 miles logged this week. Today is a rest day and I've been taking the elevator at work as much as possible lol
