Forgot to tell you - here's a fun workout you can do at home. You can do it maybe 2-3 times per month and track your progress as you get in better shape...

DEATH BY AIR SQUATS :hanging:

Min 1: 1 air squat + 1 situp
Min 2: 2 air sqauts + 2 situps
Min 3: 3 air squars + 3 situps
continue the pattern...
Keep going until you can't keep the pace! Starts off easy and around minute 15 on gets really challenging

Going to Orthopedist today to get my shoulder checked, had an accident on my bike a little over a week ago.

Shoulder got better but still feels off and still having pain. Hopefully its no biggie, I've been limited to leg work lately and haven't ridden my bike much, as to keep the strain off my right shoulder. Wish me luck.

I fell off the wagon hard, started back up 7 week ago. I started doing push ups every day ( I skipped twice) making good progress. I started doing planks last night and thought that looks easy in comparison to pushups...I was wrong. Planks are no joke. Started off with over a min on the first rep could only hold 20 seconds a few reps in  I need to start running more too ...

Planks are tough! I use to be able to do 3 min no problem. Now i struggle trying to push out 1 min lol Just make sure you don't strain your back. If you aren't keeping it straight and your back in bending, try doing 30 secs reg, and then switch to 15 secs on each side. Work your way up from there.

Exactly! Download the SmartWOD app and use the Tabata setting. Start with maybe 5 rounds of 30 sec work 30 sec rest. See what works for you and you can build from there!

If anyone in the Hartford/West Hartford area is looking for something to do this weekend, Underdog Mixed Martial Arts in West Hartford is having a huge 10th Anniversary celebration all weekend with free fitness and martial arts classes!!!

I've been training at Underdog since leaving a local crossfit gym and have loved it there so come on by if you're local! Really fun, supportive and community-based fitness environment for all skill levels. Shoot me a message if you're interested! There's a free nutrition seminar tonight as well after the free fitness class.

Thanks, Zef!

Also... PREACH

the fact that you did this during multiple film festivals is equally redonkulous

Feels a little weird to put this out there, but I've been inspired reading this thread, so here goes...

At day 97 working out - specifically closing my rings with my Apple Watch
Overall have lost 95.6 lbs to date - lots more to go but at my lowest in 20 years

Hoping this is only the beginning!

That’s incredible. :notworthy:

Coming up I’ve got a beer mile on July 4th (gonna do 4 different craft beers because that makes it so much funnier)

Then I’m going up to Killington for the mountain running series to do a 25k trail at the end of August.

The big one is I’m doing a trail 50k in early October. Been researching more comfy trail shoes for wide feet. I’m kind of stressing. It makes me nervous just thinking about it. Never done more than a marathon. :hanging:

Anyone who hasn't tried with intermittent fasting should hop on the train.

I've been doing it for about 8 months now? Started with 12 hours. Up to not eating after 730 pm and not until before 1030/11 am. I feel good. Body has reacted very well. Definitely body fat is down from doing this.
