Started running again now that the weather is getting warmer and it's not dark when I get home from work. 5k a day is a good way to get rolling. Zeffarett, I notice there is a gap in July if you felt like running the boilermaker. 15k that ends at the brewery with as much free beer as you want. Seems right up your alley. It usually sells out and is pretty crowded so don't expect to get your PB, but it's always fun

That's a really cool looking race! I don't think I can make it though. It's far enough that it becomes a trip thing and I have too much coming up unfortunately.

For the 4/1 10k I set a new 10k PR for myself! 45:22 which is like a 7:19 pace. I was drymounting wiped by the end. :D

Just went through like 2 hours of reading recaps of the Barkley Marathons which was this past weekend. Absolutely crazy ending.

For any runners, please watch the netflix documentary. It's so good and is fascinating. Over 1000 people have entered since 1986. There have been 15 finishers. 5 roughly 20 mile loops that need to be completed in 60 hours. :hanging: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barkley_Marathons

Had my trail half this weekend. Super technical and was rainy and muddy. No clue how I didnt hurt myself. 2:02 was my time. Came in 30th overall! My body still hurts.

The gf got me this off of etsy. I love it. :D

Congrats, Zef! That's bigtime. Proud of you Broham.

I'm around 25 days from hitting 1 year on my mile-a-day running streak.

Hell yeah! Just goes to show you how easy it is to get in a quick run. No excuses.

Someone I know just got done yesterday 365 days of running at least 3 miles. He's not even in crazy good shape or huge like you'd think. Id say he's a little over middle aged. Total badass. :notworthy:

My father in law runs atleast as many miles a year as the year on the calendar, an average of 5.5 miles a day. I think he misses a day or two every year but is out almost every day. Doesnt matter if its twenty below and snowing or 90 plus and humid. Pretty impressive especially when he is constantly traveling all over the world on medical missions. I on the otherhand only like to run when its between 40 and 70 and sunny.
