I had to google 'crackling'. I've come across the word, but never knew what it was/meant. I'm gonna' guess that the dish you've posted is very good; however, I'm likely never to get the opportunity to try it. It's like pastrami, I've never eaten it and a lot of folks rave about it. I don't want to try it because even if it is good, it's not something that I would continue to eat. Isn't pastrami unhealthy...fatty? In other words, ignorance will keep me healthier.
Crackling is divine. Crunchy goodness. Pastrami is also very swell.

Residents of Hawaii responses on Reddit about how they reacted to the alert:

I got drunk for the first time in 4 years of sobriety... oops -- two_black_eyes

All I regret is filling my emergency water containers right behind the car. So now I'm blocked in the garage by 150 gallons of water -- fusepark

My 70 year old dad ate two loaves of bread while hiding in his closet. He said he only regrets it because he has to buy more bread now -- lookma_noserotonin

Hawaii resident here. While I didn't make the impulse decision, the people around me did. I was sleeping when the announcement came out, and the others in my house didn't decide to wake me up. They said if I was gonna die, might as well let me die in my sleep. Edit: We all became tired of the news after two hours. Just became annoying -- PacamaHM

I made an impulse decision to stay in bed with my wife. Nowhere to go for safety, no time to get there anyway. Might as well be comfortable in my bed with someone i love -- Fearlessleader85

I ate all the leftover lasagna in my fridge. I figured that if shits about to hit the fan, I better carb tf up -- d**kheadf**tface

My uncle and his family live in Hawaii. He's been cheating on his wife for 2 years. We all found out about it in a mass text he sent 5 minutes after the emergency text went out. He wanted "clear the air" before he died -- jmanmaster

Well, a good news thing, I start as the local film reviewer for the main radio station here in Perth today. A little bit nervous - naturally - but I'm very darn excited.

The 'first day' is always a bit nerve wracking. Now that it's over...It's smooth sailing from here on. You'll do great! Congrats!

Ah. I knew they were ahead...didn't realize that much. What do I know? Heh. I live in the land where time stood still...we don't even observe daylight savings time shiftiness, here.

Thanks RA and FrankBooth - I'll make sure to try steer the Perth public away from the nonsense.

IWish - we don't celebrate the curtain ruining nonsense that is daylight savings either. Why are we saving daylight when we've got global warming going on? Don't we want less sunlight? Bah humbug.

They are the tits. Best in NZ that I've had. I'd send you one but the fat content is so high it'd be considered a weapon.
