Dressed up the first Christmas tree inside da house for the first time in probably 7 or 8 years. Turned out to be a nice one. Had to chop the top off a bit to fit it in. It ain't a "$4,500 babbs" type of tree, but worked out quite nice.

Scored free tickets to go watch clips from Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 with live accompaniment by the Houston Symphony Orchestra! Pumped :)

When I first reached out and asked for them, the PR lady informed me that there were no more press tickets available. I'm not on the Symphony's press list, but I previously reached out and scored tickets to Psycho. Upon hearing that there weren't any available, I hit her back and told her to keep me in mind in case any free up. Woke up to an email informing me that 2 tix freed up for tonight's performance. (Pays to be persistent!)

Bought a real vacuum. After using a bagless piece of crap for years, using this one is next to fun.

I've said it before...Midnight Run has been a favorite of mine ever since it was released. Of course, De Niro can do no wrong, but Grodin stole the show in the movie.

I had to google 'crackling'. I've come across the word, but never knew what it was/meant. I'm gonna' guess that the dish you've posted is very good; however, I'm likely never to get the opportunity to try it. It's like pastrami, I've never eaten it and a lot of folks rave about it. I don't want to try it because even if it is good, it's not something that I would continue to eat. Isn't pastrami unhealthy...fatty? In other words, ignorance will keep me healthier.

LOL. Wut? Why are you giving me the hairy eyeball? Is it because I've never tried pastrami or didn't know what crackling was?
