My wife made cookies with my son a few weeks ago, finished up and was headed to the sink with the bowl and beaters and I kinda lost it that she wasn't handing them off. Said she was worried about the raw eggs, the boy and I took our chances.RottenAtom wrote:

A wasted beater is a sad sad thing. I have definitely overreacted in that same situation.
