Forget cats, let's talk about dogs!
Yes, luckily we moved recently and had yet to part with a bunch of boxes. Was going to be temporary until a more permanent type thing can be set up, but it actually works pretty well and I don't know if she'll get big enough to jump out of it. Can't really let her run around the apartment yet.
The Chewbacca collar, which is actually a cat collar, is still too big. But if it ever does fit her I ordered up a dog tag:

Thanks so much for the kind words, but he's the one that really deserves the kudos. Ever since he moved in my whole lifestyle has changed for the better. Finally eating right, exercising everyday with our exciting adventures to the creek and the beach, and just overall happier (probably due to the fact he's a laughs per minute dog) he always has me chuckling awayGoBluePanic wrote:What an awesome looking dog! You don't se them around as much these days which is a shame. Thanks for taking up a dog that needed it and providing a great home!Taken this morning on his favourite trek along the creek.

Orijen pet foods featured our baby on their instaface accounts. I've tried so many brands of food and I'll say theirs is definitely the best quality.

Starsky had a few sores on him, so we took him to the vet. They said he has hives or an allergic reaction to something, but not sure what. He's on antibiotics as well as a steroid. To keep him from licking them, he has to wear the cone of shame. He hates it and has no idea what to do with himself!
Think the cone of shame only comes in one size fits all fashion. Had one on a badger-dog, and it was just too much so I ended up trimming it down a good bit. Really only has to go past the snout. May help Starsky cope some.erba wrote:the cone of shame
They do have different sizes but they're always huge. Henry chewed his ass a few months back and had to have one. The lady gave me a cone suitable for a St Bernard or something. I laughed and asked if she had a smaller one. She said it was the correct size for him then leaned forward to peer over the counter for a second before agreeing he needed the next size down. It was a better fit but still didn't stop him crashing into everything in site and getting stuck in doorways. I let him out for a late night wee at one point and he must've got wind of a fox. I could hear him crashing around in our field and undergrowth before he returned with half the local greenery in tow.Philpenn wrote:Think the cone of shame only comes in one size fits all fashion.
