I hate to bring it up, but think i said something a few pages back that now feels not so good. For the folks doing their taxes those 3k loss carry forwards are going to be no fun. A move from say BTC to ETH in nov or december is taxable for your gains on the BTC, which is a real gut punch with ETH down, especially if you have to sell to get the cash to pay the tax man. Same feeling a lot of folks are going to have paying tax on mutual fund distributions with the fund values down.

So be careful if you are out there playing with more than fun money. I'm sure folks may be carrying forward 2018 losses for a lot of years

ps I can't believe everybody who got in even remotely early didn't sell at $20K.

Don't lose anything til you turn your loses jnto fiat. Wonder if they'll have a follow up story if BTC hits 64k by April as predicted by Clif High?

What is everyone's thought re: Ethereum and Omisego, since they're blockchain and not tech crypto coins?

If ETH figures out scaling then idk how high it will go. OMG is the one token I will probably look back on in 5 years and smash my head against the wall trying to figure out why I didn't buy more. Look into Electrify Asia... it's things like this that really make you see what can be possible going forward.

One rally does not a market make, even a massive rally.

Hodl all you want - BTC needs to build a long base, probably in the 3-4k range, before it ever climbs to 20k again. I'd bet on lower lows than that along the way.

Or it might fizzle and disappear. Right now, the only thing preventing that is an unreliable ephemerality known as 'sentiment'

I’d say the same. Personally I think it’s a pyramid scheme thanking advantage of the hype of social media and benefitting from a bull world market. 64K by May? I think you’d be lucky if it was still 6400

Wish I would have thrown some money down when I first heard about though..I’d be cashed out of it long ago anyway and maybe sucked in so it might be a good thing I didn’t
