Trying to! I'm still flummoxed by how to buy bit coins to be honest. Guess I need to make a bank transfer?

This is the easiest way in the U.K to do it , you can use barclays pingit if you have that ...

A friend of mine owns a karaoke bar in Berlin and has been accepting Bitcoin for a few years now. Wish these were a little more widely used.

Thanks stingers!

I have pingit so will aim to use that. So if I understand I buy the bitcoins and then they're deposited in my wallet which I then link to whichever site I want to pay?

Create wallet on your computer
purchase bitcoins
transfer them to your wallet address
from wallet transfer to the address the site you're buying on tells you

I'm actually suprised that the EB forum doesn't accept donations via Bitcoin. It would be alot easier/cheaper for them to manage a BTC wallet, no fees, no reporting, etc. :pint:

It's weird, I'm taking a graduate level Global Economics class right now, from a Harvard PhD who regularly appears on MSNBC and she does not think the sky is falling. Thank god for EB, I would have been invested in the S&P 500 over the last year if wasn't for all this key advice.
