Anyone in PA know if there is a way to check individual stores full bottle inventory?
For example, every bourbon in stock at store #4502.
Ive been able to do it based on a selected bourbon. You can find which stores have it. But I'm looking for a full inventory of a store online.

It's supposedly "coming soon" here for $279.99.
edit:
Actually came into the thread to recommend The Antiquary 12 Year Old Blended Scotch.
Again.
had a wee bit at 3:30 in the afternoon today, and it was delightful

Picked it up in North Jersey, about 20 miles from the Water Gap. ($249) they had the Rye for $159. They got 1 bottle of each. Also had a few Blood Oath, Rethoric and Gifted Horse. Plus the Jeffersons experimental sampler pack. Pretty nice selection for a Bottle King. I saw a bottle design on EC that I'd never seen before. That's the new packaging.o4phish20o wrote:I saw a bottle design on EC that I'd never seen before. (Was the small batch)
Reminds me a bit of the Bowman bottle.
(just watched Ron Burgundy for the very first time this afternoon)
Big fan of The Antiquary as a nice easy drinking blend, was lucky enough to get a bottle in a rag tag collection of bottles from my Grandad.padelimike wrote:

This on the other hand works far better than it has any right to.
Don't know if much Compass Box stuff makes it out to the states, but if you see any, grab it, I've yet to find one of theirs being a dud.

What are Orangerie and Asyla like?maozilla wrote: Don't know if much Compass Box stuff makes it out to the states, but if you see any, grab it, I've yet to find one of theirs being a dud.
I like Oak Cross just fine, and Pa. has that one is on closeout (along with most of their Compass Box varieties)
It's $42.00
Asyla is knocked down to $42 as well.
The Spice Tree is $51
The Orangerie is a closeout too, but they haven't reduced it from $49 yet.

Bushmills White tonight with Ginger Ale. Sometimes less is more.
Bourbon fans try the new Bushmills Red.

I have always loved Bushmills.
Having a double of Stranahans tonight, batch 173. Takes me back to bachelortimes in DenCO chasing batches 20-30 in the alley behind the apt with Ten Fidy, arguing with hobos and smokin cigars. #livin4thecity

just a foil for me today, thanks
Asyla's not my personal taste, but a really nice easy drinking whisky, I'd probably go for Oak Cross over it if they're the same price but my personal taste runs more towards spice and peat. Orangerie works far better than the description gives it any right to, It's just the orange peel and spices they add, no sugar, so it's sweet, but not overly so and pretty complex, probably my second favourite of theirs after The Spice Tree.padelimike wrote:What are Orangerie and Asyla like?

I love it, but then again it is about the best whiskey I've found to pair with fine tobacco, like Peter Stokkebye's.Danno1 wrote:Is Stranahans worth a pick up? Have heard mixed things about it.
I don't know how it works with "factory-made" cigarettes, but I'd think it's about the same.
They use 2 to 4 year barrels for that blend.
Diamond Peak, made with only the 4 year and older barrels, is smoother and sweeter. It has a similar overall flavor profile to their "regular" but just less of it, with a few more different flavors coming in.
They must be doing something right - every year locals line up for hours for the vaunted Snowflake release.
