If it's half as good as Metze's, I'd happily pay $50-$75 a bottle.mtarail wrote:Not chill filtered. I'm definitely intrigued.Danno1 wrote:MGP is rolling out their new acquisition by giving something away to those who sign up for a newsletter. No idea what it is but its free.

MSRP is $44 so worth a shot for sure. The variations the NDP put out were single barrels around $60 and a port finished I think for a little more. A clerk at a local in Kentucky recommended the SB to us but I had already stoked up on too much.padelimike wrote:If it's half as good as Metze's, I'd happily pay $50-$75 a bottle.mtarail wrote:Not chill filtered. Was told today by the bourbon guru at TPS that Four Roses has suspended it's Private Barrel program until further notice. So if you are fond of a particular recipe to stock up. All orders already in and in processing will be honored but no further orders.

It was the dregs. You had to be in line at 6:00 a.m. to get a ticket. They had 250 numbers to pass out, but only about 200 showed up. They had 72 bottles. Here's what they had (I went to the Burnsville store):

Anybody else watching the mess on facebook unfold with the guy that was refilling/sealing bottles and mostly selling them off in Megas. Probably talking 10s of thousands the guy scammed.

I've seen ripples of it in conversation on bourbonr. I haven't been following it closely or anything. I try and avoid the 2ndary whenever possible in all of my hobbies/addictions.Baker wrote:Anybody else watching the mess on facebook unfold with the guy that was refilling/sealing bottles and mostly selling them off in Megas.
