Looks like this joint is permanently closed, as I tried to order from them tonight.

The hype has some merit for sure.

Also the place I recommended in the UWS, had a feeling this was looming for some years now. The city is slowly becoming an endless stream of drug stores, banks and starbucks.

Pequod's was the constant suggestion I had after I already went to LM.

Was working in Forest Hills and decided to finally go to Dani's in Kew Gardens, really good slice and quite large. Also $2.50 a slice is nice too.

Also KGC is there, which is a cool place.

I posted a pic from Pequod's a page or two back. It's great fresh but no so much cold as the crust is super thick. The burnt cheese around the crust is amazing, though.

When you buy the largest pizza they make for yourself and no one else, I would have to disagree.

Bought an Uuni stainless pizza oven and my first attempt at pizza....
Unbelievably.. the little thing gets right up to 400 deg C and cooks a pizza in 60-90 seconds

Great looking pizza. I just looked up that pizza oven - very cool. I got the Pizzeria Pronto pizza oven and love it! Have done about 80 individual pizzas in it so far.
