I use to work at a pizza place in college and we came up with some pretty crazy pizzas over time, however my go to is Chicken, Bacon and Jalepenos. SO GOOD
If you are in the D/FW area and like neapolitan pizza, you have to try Cavalli's or Cane Rosso, bit expensive for pizza but damn good!

Austin: Homeslice has some of my favorite pizza ever. Margherita with extra basil, yes please.
St. Louis: Pi on Delmar has a nice deep dish, but they make it with a cornmeal crust that isn't as heavy as most.
Chicago: Geno's East was great and the toppings were fresh, I like it. Also like Lou Malnatti's, but didn't have the freshness of Geno's
NYC: Eaten in Little Italy a number of times and the pizza has always sucked. Just being honest.
Nashville: We have a couple of spots with decent pie, but I usually call Papa or The Hut when getting a pie. I know, I know....but the Garden Fresh pie at Papa's is hard to be when you are hungry.

MMMM homeslice. Add a Live Oak beer on tap!!!!! Heaven.
Wish I could get Live Oak here in Houston or that they bottled. Have probably only drank 50 different beers in my life (so not a huge expert) but it has topped all my favorites. And that goes for the other types the brew as well that I had around Austin.

I wish we could get Live Oak down here too. I drink their Hefeweizen whenever I'm in Ausin.

If any of you stumble into Pittsburgh... I highly recommend Mineo's Pizza, hands down my favorite, and I've eaten at a lot of pizza places in western PA.

Not my photo.
But, for the record, Mineo's puts their toppings under the cheese.

As a native New Yorker, it made my hear go pitter patter when I found a pseudo New York style pizza place out here in California.
I'm used to being able to go in and order slices to go, but I guess that trend hasn't hit the West Coast yet.
God, I miss me some Long Island pizza
