L.A. 2019: An Appreciation

Talk about anything here. Post lifespan is 1 year.

Villeneuve is no shmuck...If there's a director I'd trust to stick to the story and still go completely off the rails, it's him. Will there be historic references to previous events? Don't see how that could be avoided. Will it be full of easter egg bullshit? I don't see DV as the type to be in any way attached to that sort of thing. Ridley, maybe, but not DV...I don't see any easter eggs happening distastefully, or in a way that would detract from the film.

I vote yes. A place safe for folks to talk about 2049 without spoiling little details for people who would rather go in blind.

Tell us how you really feel about trailers and spoilers RA :P

The Gos and Deckard finally meet at end of film. Deckard as ever, shots him in the back.

Steals coat, puts it on and flips up the collar.

"Cos I'm a Replican, posterkiller!" :winks at camera:

End titles.

Ford looks so sheepish in that last pic. Give me the pay slip and let me go...

But his reluctance and gruff demeanor may work for his character. First one had him miserable all the way thru.
