I definitely worry about incompetent drivers more than I do the snow/ice itself.

If they don't have snow tires or chains, going 25 is risky enough as it is.

Luls. Ice days can get crazy.

Chains deserve a separate luls too.

A few months ago (last fall, I think) I was driving behind a vehicle going at about 25-30 mph in a 50 zone (80 km/h). That went on for over 15 miles. I was saying to myself that it must be just an old fella going on his business. When I finally had a chance to pass, it turned out to be a dude in mid 40s (I would say).

All these old school poster auctions with websites that look like they were made in the 90s. Guess it adds to the vintage cred?

P.S. What's wrong with chains other than the fact that they're a PITA to put on? Round here that's about all anyone might have to use when traveling to the snow.

2 lane road behind a car that wouldn't go faster than 25 MPH. The road had some snow cover but two ruts that were clear to the pavement.
Some people don't really have the option to just stay home...
Anyone with half a brain or some semblance of road etiquette would pull over and let a tailing car pass.

The amount of 20mph drivers with hazards on here on Wednesday while I was driving home after work was hilarious. Luckily it was a 6 lane freeway. 8)

the redesign to the podcast app in iOS 11 is infuriating.

Any recommendations on a good non-"i" way to keep up with podcasts?

I've been using podcast addict on Android. Takes a bit of getting used to, but does the job.

Are you on apple or android? If android, then Podcast Addict - as Blue said. If Android, then literally anything other than Apple Podcasts app.

been using overcast app. only problem is i don't think it has a sync feature for desktop but would rather deal with that instead of the podcast app.
