I believe this is by Kevin Sykes. I just purchased one on ebay.
one on ebay for cheap. it's been drymounted.....prob would look pretty good framed up.
drymounting sweet, besides what's listed what other Detroit shows have you done?kevlar wrote:Yes, this is a Kevin Sykes poster. I know because I am he...
I'm kind of interested that the drymounted version floating on the bay right now appears to be a totally different color scheme than the picture we have on Ebeans. I guess for the one show KS printed a couple different color schemes?

The first s/n edition has this really cool yellow up top/fade to florescent green down to the bottom that can't seem to be captured on camera. Very nice job, Kevlar!

Pictures 2 and 3 with the red background are the 1st edition and are s/n to 100. The image and words are framed in yellow up top that fades to florescent GID green on the bottom. I can't find my copy but the size is something like 12x30".
That first picture is one of a couple different yellow/blue background versions and there's at least 3 different versions of that one that aren't part of the s/n 1st edition.

The image shown as the first edition of 100 isn't the actual 1st edition.. The picture shown is of one that is much smaller, handbill size and different colors.
The 2nd and 3rd images with the red background is what the actual s/n first ed of 100 looks like.
The one that's blue is a bootleg.

i have quite a few of these. 3 yellow/red and I also have 1 with the blue/green variation. It seems different from the poster that is posted here. The bottom of my blue/green poster also has the same Flourescent/Gid as the red/yellow version. I was told when I purchased it that it came directly from ghetto press. But I don't know that for sure. It sure looks real side by side
