This one went straight to the wall in a big ole frame.
Hey thanks man, I really appreciate that, do them all myself, americanframe style.mtarail wrote:I'm always impressed with your framing, 7th son, going back to your Jones arcade fire. That looks amazing.
I used to used AF for all of my framing, but the shipping cost on the larger frames was counteracting the savings from buying from them.7th_son wrote:Hey thanks man, I really appreciate that, do them all myself, americanframe style.mtarail wrote:I'm always impressed with your framing, 7th son, going back to your Jones arcade fire. This one came from the Danger's TME sale.
That doesn't completely sound like G1988's fault...mhanc wrote:Just got this e-mail from Gallery 1988. Another G1988 snafu:
Yeah the shipping costs are quite high, especially for oversize stuff, and extra especially for international orders like mine, but amazingly it still beats the local cost by a wide margin. This one was an oversize order. Even with AF offering free shipping in the US at the time, international orders (if Canada should even count as that) certainly got no discount. But I digress, and am very happy with the results they've provided me over the years.mlinderer wrote:I used to used AF for all of my framing, but the shipping cost on the larger frames was counteracting the savings from buying from them.7th_son wrote:Hey thanks man, I really appreciate that, do them all myself, americanframe style.mtarail wrote:I'm always impressed with your framing, 7th son, going back to your Jones arcade fire. I'd really recommend that you guys try framedestination.com. They don't charge any oversize fees. Their selection isn't nearly as big as AF, but if you're doing something like 7th Son, with some combination of black moulding and black/white mat, they'll have what you need. (And no, I don't work for framedestination, but I've been much happier with their customer service than AF).7th_son wrote:Yeah the shipping costs are quite high, especially for oversize stuff, and extra especially for international orders like mine, but amazingly it still beats the local cost by a wide margin.
