Brett doesn't really kick it on the internet a lot, but you guys might dig that he took notice of the love, and he appreciates it:

Poor Man's Ian Francis.
Not really. Francis spent so many years with pop culture -- Paris Hilton, Japanese porn stars, freakin' Pikachu, etc -- and his newer work is more surreal, with some pronounced geometry, so I wouldn't really compare the two. I think all they really share is an ethereal quality, and that's not really going to link them up forever. Brett is more like a younger, grittier, and more "street" Kim Cogan or, depending on which art critic is talking, "this generation's Edward Hopper."

You're very welcome! Thanks for a great piece of art! I'm looking forward to seeing how you will continue the Waiting series!

I'll buy #81 later today/tomorrow aswell. The mood you've captured in it is very intriguing! Hopefully it gets the sell out it deserves! Good luck and keep up the good work!

78 reminds me of grubbin' on Herring or Frites back in Amsterdam. Really like it and hope it's still around after the NY. Nice pick-ups, BTW
