i just framed mine with no mat and a white frame. there is a lot of buckling in the print which is very noticeable especially with the print's grid pattern. my framer said that with the embossing, there is no way they are going to be able to make the print lie perfectly flat. has anyone else had this problem? any suggestions?

Have you had it stored flat or rolled up?

it's been stored flat over the past six months since i got it. and i should add that there is a spacer going around the edge so that the print is back a bit from the glass as is i suspect is normal. however, i just talked to the framer and they said they could take the spacers out and back the print completely so that the print is pushed up against the glass and keep it flat. frame said that it's a risk if moister gets in there that could have the print stick to the glass. but otherwise, it's not inherently bad. thoughts?

Stick with the spacer. The risk of moisture never outweighs it looking better.

A good framer should be able to hinge it in a few spots to minimize the buckling.

If you frame this professionally (have them make a "sandwich" = tape the backboard and the front mat shut), there's NO way this gets moist. Same goes for mattless as the spacers are so not needed with this one.

Me I had spacers over a simple white mat, but that's because I had them painted...
Never had any issues with waves.
