I'm hoping for something similar to his "Warriors" poster.desch wrote:And for the record, I purchased them because I like Star Wars, I like Olly Moss's work and so far, these are the best Star Wars posters I've ever seen. That may change however if Tyler puts out a set in the near future of these movies. Fingers crossed that that happens!my2hands wrote:does anyone actually buy art for themselves anymore?

Absolutely right. I bagged myself the set and I have no intention of selling them, they are simply amazing. I already had a moss trouble with tribbles and I really dig his style. Having said that it's really nice to know that something you have is worth more than you paid for it and for me it makes them all the better knowning that I have something that is extremely desirable to lots of other people. Sort of justifies the money I spent on them
For me personally, when you've seen one Stout you've pretty much seen them all. They're all the same design, different characters and colors, but basically the same. Olly's to me require much more creative thought and input and do a better job of capturing the feel of a movie.desch wrote:And for the record, I purchased them because I like Star Wars, I like Olly Moss's work and so far, these are the best Star Wars posters I've ever seen. Olly is the king of creativity/originality in design/concept, and Stout excels at execution. Generally speaking, I can imagine what Stout's Star Wars poster will look like--but that doesn't make me less excited about it. With Olly, I never know what he'll do next.

Please add the A/P 1-50 signed set edition thanks
There is no AP edition. Olly was selling numbers 1-50 out of 400. The only difference is that they were signed.boatingbenny wrote:Please add the A/P 1-50 signed set edition thanks

Different demand/prices will be generated for these 50 sets and will skew the average of the other 350 imo.
I agree. The 50 signed should be a seperate listing. Wish I could have been able to purcahse the signed ones..... Can't wait to see um though!boatingbenny wrote:Well then add the signed 1-50dylansdad wrote:There is no AP edition. Olly was selling numbers 1-50 out of 400. Not really a debate..all you have to do is look at the Klausen Bridge School poster to see what a signature brings to the value of a print.maden wrote:This debate again? Great.
glad you guys brought this up... I posted the same thoughts in the release Discussion for this.GR8Dane wrote:I agree. The 50 signed should be a seperate listing. These SHOULD have two separate editions, IMO... even though the images are the same, the Mondotees set is not signed AND it was a different price than the 30 or so sets which were sold today by Olly. Pretty cut-and-dry if you ask me
