Please post some close-ups of the skull and background. Is the gold metallic. It looks to be. Is that pink on the side?

I could write a Phd thesis on the co-opting of the skull in art. But, now has the skull has run its course in art and pop culture?
It is a frequent motif that has lost meaning and now just seems to be pandering to the masses. IOW, we're all skullf#%&ed!
