Still curious as to what the beasts are in this beast.

I am going to venture to guess a polar bear...

A Clypto??

And who knows what other sea or sky fairing creatures...

edit: Realized what I thought was a crossed off "C" is probably a crossed off "G" as in 'Glyptodon'
Which I am pretty sure is what is sitting on the roof... and the end of its tail would be the mine looking thing in the water.

My 2 cents :D

decker you might be onto something with the Glypto

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glyptodontidae

still not sure, especially with those strange antlers. That's probably just a Horkey mutant animal though blending some type of African game with a prehistoric beast. The antlers remind me of that weird 3 horned goat sketch he did in that moleskine a while back.

Let me know what you think.

I agree 100%.

I don't think this time Aaron was going for quite the same historical accuracy as the Pangolin in VS.
I think this is definitely more of his own artistic interpretation of the creature...

But IMO if there is one thing that Aaron draws incredibly well... It is horns/antlers :notworthy:

(as if there was only ONE, Muwahahaha!)
